Amazon Hosts Exclusive A.R. Rahman Musical Evening for Employees in Chennai
Chennai: Amazon hosted an exclusive musical evening for over 300 employees and associates in Chennai on Wednesday, celebrating the music album launch of the upcoming film Ramayana. Organised by Amazon Music at the Chennai Trade Centre, the event featured a spectacular live performance by legendary composer A.R. Rahman and his orchestra, alongside appearances by the film’s star cast.
The event recognised the contributions of Amazon’s workforce, offering employees and associates, including members of its Chennai operations network, a memorable cultural experience.
“The opportunity to attend A.R. Rahman’s live orchestra was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for years to come. Experiencing his music alongside colleagues and seeing the Ramayana star cast up close made the evening truly special,” said Sneha Murugan, Associate, Amazon India.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, in collaboration with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana is planned as a two-part epic. The first instalment is scheduled for worldwide release on November 5, 2026, with the second part slated for Diwali 2027.
