ALLEN Career Institute Hosts SOPAN 2025, Celebrating Chennai’s Top Achievers in Engineering, Medicine, and Olympiads
Chennai, 30th November 2025: ALLEN Career Institute Pvt. Ltd. successfully concluded its annual victory celebration “SOPAN 2025”, honouring Chennai’s outstanding performers who secured admissions to premier national institutes and excelled in Olympiads. The event was held in two sessions at the Anna Centenary Library, bringing together distinguished guests, educators, parents, and achievers.
SOPAN, an annual recognition platform by ALLEN, celebrates the academic accomplishments of students from Chennai by conferring cash rewards, medallions, and certificates.
This year’s celebration marked exceptional achievements across engineering, medical, and research institutions. A total of 51 students secured admission to IITs, 33 students to NITs, 18 students to IIIT, 3 students to IISER, 4 students to IIST, 5 students to BITS, 49 students to VIT, 178 students to Government Medical Colleges, 3 students to AIIMS, 17 students to Madras Medical College, 1 student each to AFMC and JIPMER.
Additionally, ALLEN felicitated 121 Olympiad achievers from Classes VI to X who demonstrated outstanding academic excellence at the national level.
The ceremony was graced by eminent panel of dignitaries – Col. Tapan Singh – Serving Indian Army Officer, Hon’ble Justice A. Kulasekaran, Dr. S. Armstrong – Professor & Head, Department of English, University of Madras, Shri B. Ilangovan (IRAS) – Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Southern Railway – Chennai Division, Group Captain Sanjay Desai, Shri K. Shankar (IPS) – Avadi Police Commissionerate, Shri Mithilesh Kumar -Assistant Inspector General, CISG, Dr. R. M. Anjana – Managing Director, Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre and President, Madras Diabetes Research Foundation.
Principals of ten leading schools in Chennai also attended, underscoring the academic significance of the programme.

The event concluded with the presentation of awards to all achievers, followed by interactions between dignitaries, students, parents, and faculty.
